This dream is in First person
Neighborhood watch is in effect.
I look down a very well known town street to me. There is a golf club behind a line of bushes to my right. Downtown is to my left behind a similar looking line of bushes. A mist seems to linger around the lamps on the sidewalk.
I have a feeling of adventure and excitement. I know there is something I must do. I must patrol this road. No hooligans allowed around here, not with me around.
As I was patrolling I hear some laughing and I see a group of people having a party. There is a person on a picnic table and some others standing around a BBQ grill. The flames were so high on the grill, that the light makes weird shadows on the ground and the house.
The people seem to notice me and waved me over. I smiled and shook my head no.
Just as I did that a blue convertible ( I am not sure of the make or model ) drives up and it is Chuck Liddel in the car.
I told him that I sure was glad he showed up . I could use some extra muscle.
He said He wish he could help more , but there was more at play than just humans. He jumped out of the convertible without using the door and motioned me to follow him.
We ran through some bushes and ended up at a house that had white vinyl siding on the front and all glass on the back ( walls and all ) .
He said he was given a special weapon and couldn't figure out how to use it. We went inside the house and on the side wall was a very weird looking object .
He took it off the wall and handed it to me and asked me to try to figure out how to work it. He was very urgent in his tone and said " they " were coming.
I looked the thing over. It was a very old looking piece of gray wood with kind of a stock look to one side ( kinda like a riffle stock ). A hilt of a French sword was mounted on the wood where the stock began. Some type of rope and cable was intertwined around what would be a barrel of the thing. A very bright gold cap was on the end.
I looked out the glass side of the house and there was a sunrise beginning and there was lots of clouds. I heard some yelling from the front of the house so I opened the front door and I saw the party goers from earlier coming out of the bushes and slowly walking towards the house. Their heads seems tilted forward as if they were really pissed offed .

Something to ponder on
Ok .....lets make up a totally FICTIONAL scenario .
Lets say ...that you and your spouse has ummm.... three children. You do not like what your local school and local environment can teach your children.
SO .. you and your spouse decide to raise your three children away from ALL technology , All people....and teach them that cockroaches are the superior beings on earth. You should bow and pray to the cockroach.. the true GOD.
Is this wrong ? Should WE as all knowing , all moral , Americans, study and raid this family. Take the children and teach them our religion, OUR morals.
This is the REAL question.
Where do we draw the line?
Who are YOU , to tell someone how to raise there children ?
Should WE, as Americans, intervene with people who are raising their children the way they want?
If a religion , that thinks that whipping a child three times a day is the correct way to raise a child, ....should we intervene? It's not our way ... who is to say we are right ?
Maybe being to easy on children is the wrong way . Maybe XBOX and MTV is the true evil .
Who is to say... .... ....... .......... .....
Ponder on it ........

Sky and Telescope Story
On the weekends I was allowed stay up as late as I wanted.
My friends and I would watch professional wrestling, which ran late into the night. As soon as the wrestling was over we would turn the knob to the local PBS channel. Some funny sounding music would start to play and a guys voice said:
Some people hustle pool,

It was the "The Star Hustler ". I remember the enthusiasm he had during the show. He showed so much excitement. He was able to bring you into his world , even though for just a short time, and make star gazing interesting and fun.
My parents would watch it with us sometimes and afterwards would take us outside look for stuff that was on the show.
He shared his knowledge and passion with millions . I am grateful for such a gift.

The EvilHick's UFO Story
This is a true story. I ain't shittin ya.
As any other Hick would tell you ..........
I have seen a UFO'S, Ghost's and other creepy ass things.

I have seen a UFO'S, Ghost's and other creepy ass things.
But today I shall concentrate on my UFO story.
I was riding home with Mrs. EvilHick one night.
The skies were clear and my windows of my 1991 Jetta diesel was rolled all the way down.
I new the farmers were busy in the fields earlier, because the smell of freshly spread chicken manure was heavy in the air that night.
Now see, I know my way around pretty good and knew that I was heading due east , you know , where the steel mill is.
I was glancing up in the sky as I usually do.
Some times I see Venus.
Most of the time I like looking for Jupiter (Man that is one big ball of snot ' huh ' ) .
But usually, I get a good look at a " Shooting Star " or two.
I know .. I know ...They ain't really falling stars.
Their just some left over junk from the protoplanetary disk during the formation of our
solar system, somewhere around 4 . something billion years ago .
But between you and me ... I still make a wish every time I see one .
I didn't see no shoot-in star that night. No Sir.
I saw a honest to Gawd UFO.
It was over the top of the steel mill, big and glowing.
Some fancier folks would say ..it pulsated .
Man Oh Man .
I slowed my Jetta down to a slow roll.
This dang UFO was doing things I ain't never seen .
It was getting bigger and getting smaller . It changed colors from, a orange to gray .
It would move to the left then ............zoooom........ to the right .
Heres the really strange thing ..........it was completely silent !
No Hum.
No Buz.
No Nuttin.
Something that big that came through the:
Milky Way Galaxy
to this solar system
to this planet
to the Steel Mill in my home town.... and it has no sound !
I was simply stumped.
No wonder you don't know when UFO's are around. They got some serious exhaust systems on those things !
Mrs. Evilhick was yellin at me " Watch out dummy ! Keep your eyes on the road not on the UFO , your rollin off the road ! "
I stopped my Jetta. and just watched this magnificent , super intelligent, alien technology , show'in me what it could do.
It was truly awe inspiring .
I was telling myself " I have seen a UFO with my own eyes. They are really real !".
Then something happened that I did no expect at all .
It was weirder than weird.
The UFO turned into a crescent shape. This was really cool look-in . UFO's are crescent spaceships!
Then I had pangs of pain in the ole EvilHicks head as brain wires snaped together (which can be painful at times ) .
The light of the almost full MOON was spilling over the long puffy cloud that was moving in front of it .
Ole my Gawd. I laughed out loud at myself. I was watching the Moon behind a invisible cloud the whole time. Ain't that a bitch.
There was only one cloud in the sky that night and just at the right time when I was looking up. It happen to be in front of the moon.
The cloud was perfectly invisible to me from MY perspective.
It made the almost full moon look like something, that I have never seen before and it was unidentifiable to me.
Well...till the freakin cloud moved out of the way
Always remember that what you see isn't always what you think it is . Pareidolia can be very convincing.
Be skeptical. ..........Of everything.
Even of your own senses .

Space X Falcon 9 Success !
Falcon launch is a success. After one abort , that I think shows the reliability of the s rocket , it launched and all stages separated beautifully .Awesome job Space X. You Rockoxr .

This launch , in my eyes, is super important to commercial space . Space X has gone from launching big rockets with the aid of desktop computers and hot pockets to grabbing the imagination of big investors.
The world has shifted their gaze at Space X with the Falcon 9 . With a successful launch . Space X will reveal the path for other investors and show them that commercial space is here and here to stay .
